Early Life
Angelo Aguot Deng Piol was born on 18 August 1980 in a small village called Nyinken of Malual West Payam in Aweil North County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, South Sudan. He was born during the period of the Sudanese civil war, a time marked by significant hardship and limited access to basic services, including education. Growing up in such circumstances, educational opportunities were scarce. Like many children of his generation, Aguot began his early education in an environment where formal learning facilities were largely unavailable, and children often attended classes under trees. Despite these difficult conditions, he developed a strong determination to pursue education and build a better future for himself. Aguot was born to his Dinka parents, Deng Piol Deng, his father and Adeng Longar, his mother, From an early age, he carried a strong ambition to make something meaningful of his life.
